Terms and Conditions

1. Payments:

a. Payment for treatments must be paid on the day of treatment.

b. BodyRight accepts payments via card, bank transfer or cash.

2. Cancellation:

a. Any appointment cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

b. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total treatment cost.

3. Rescheduling:

a. Clients may reschedule appointments without penalty if done so at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

b. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment will be treated as a cancellation, subject to the cancellation policy outlined above.

c. In the event of rescheduling due to illness, there will be no charge.

4. No Shows:

a. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the total treatment cost.

b. Clients who ‘no show’ may be required to pay a 50% booking fee at the time of booking future appointments.

5. Late Arrivals:

a. Clients are encouraged to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments to receive the full duration of the treatment.

b. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, with the full treatment fee still applicable.

6. Pre-paid treatment packages:

a. If you have purchased a course of treatments by prepaying, a 24-hour notice is still required for appointment cancellations. We retain the right to deduct a treatment from your prepaid package if the cancellation notice is not provided within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.

b. All treatment packages must be used within 12 months from the original purchase date.

7. Exceptions:

a. In cases of emergencies or extenuating circumstances, exceptions to the above policies may be considered at the discretion of BodyRight.

8. Client Conduct:

a. Any form of harassment, inappropriate behaviour, or verbal abuse will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the treatment.

b. In such cases, the full fee for the session will remain payable.

9. Client Responsibility and Communication:

a. It is the client's responsibility to communicate with the therapist regarding any adjustments that could enhance their experience, such as room temperature.

b. The client will provide feedback on the pressure of the treatment if required.

c. Should the client experience any pain or discomfort during the treatment, it is their duty to promptly inform the therapist.

c. The therapist will periodically check in with the client to ensure the suitability of the pressure being applied.

10. Liability

a. Clients acknowledge that soft tissue therapy involves physical manipulation of the soft tissues, which may result in temporary discomfort, soreness, or bruising. While every effort is made to minimise risks and ensure client safety, clients understand and accept the risks associated.

b. BodyRight is not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from failure to disclose relevant medical information.

10. Client's Duty to Inform Therapist of Changes in Medical Health:

a. It is the client's responsibility to promptly inform the therapist of any changes in their medical health since completing the initial consultation form. This is vital for the therapist to provide safe and effective treatment.

b. Failure to disclose relevant changes in medical health may impact the suitability or safety of the treatment provided.

11. Data Collection and Privacy:

a. Clients are advised to review our GDPR Policy for comprehensive information regarding how their data is collected, handled and protected.

12. Treatment of Minors:

a. A minor must be accompanied by an adult who must remain present in the treatment room at all times throughout the treatment session.

b. For clients under the age of 18, parental consent is obligatory prior to treatment.

b. If the parent or legal guardian is not the accompanying adult, then written consent must be obtained beforehand.

13. Acceptance of Terms:

a. By booking an appointment with Body Right, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
